Over the last two weeks, a group of six students from the Academy took part in the exhibition «Black Mountain. An Interdisciplinary Experiment 1933 – 1957» at Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin: the daily activities ranged from working with the archive, spending time in the museum to making work and arranging an exhibition within the exhibition as well as conversations and performances.
After a first insight into the process and research upon the invitation of trans-talk in Spring 2015 the participating students and Dag Erik Elgin now return to the Akademirommet to continue the conversation around ‘The Museum as Academy?’ together with Rike Frank and to talk through their sojourn by means of looking at archived and raw materials.
